The Details

This home office needed to be designed to function for both a husband and a wife. In addition to functionality, the style had to be fitting to both of their personalities. Sophisticated Swank was born, combining a coastal vibe of white tongue and groove ceilings, wainscoting and French doors with the modern richness of patterned grasscloth, lacquered furniture, a burl wood desk, and lucite ghost chairs. The modern mix was a perfect palette for the custom designed drapery and client’s beautiful original artwork. The lacquered cabinet, while originally sold as a sideboard, houses their printer and scanner beautifully.
